Our recently renovated, fully self contained, historic farm cottage has extensive views over farm land and beyond to the cliffs of the trout filled Tutaekuri River "Annie's Cottage" is in the heart of the large intensive sheep, cattle, deer farm and apple and pear orchard.
Relax, unwind and treat yourselves to the best country retreat Hawke’s Bay has to offer.
"The Cottage" is set in very private and quiet surroundings. A special place to wind down, relax and enjoy your stay.
We have an excellent swimming and trout fishing river on the property. An extensive farm tour is offered to those that are interested. Many mountain and lake walks within 20–30 minutes drive. Soak up the atmosphere of a working family Hawke’s Bay farm. Enjoy the hospitality of your hosts Kirsty and Gary and family at the Waiwhenua historic homestead for a swim, coffee, and a beer on the veranda or just a chat.
Meals can be arranged for guests (usually home grown beef, lamb or venison) with prior notice. Fresh fruit aplenty during the season—February onwards.
